NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2020

According to the NIMCET 2020 eligibility criteria, candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA in the following subjects:

  • B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects

OR

  • B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University

How to fill NIMCET Application Form 2020?

It is to be noted that the application form of NIMCET 2020 is expected to be released in online mode only in the first week of March, 2020. All eligible candidates will be required to register themselves (online) first, using their valid e-mail ID and phone number. Check the steps below to know the registration and application filling procedure of NIMCET 2020:

  1. Online Registration

  • Visit the official website of NIMCET 2020 (nimcet.in) and click on ‘New Registration'.

  • Fill in the necessary details like e-mail ID, password, security question and answer, etc. These details are to be remembered until the end of the NIMCET 2020 admission process.

  • An e-mail will be sent automatically to the aforementioned email-id, wherein a link to the webpage to set your own password will be provided (the candidate is advised to check even the “SPAM” folder in their mail as the spam filters of some mail service providers dump the first email from a new source to “SPAM” folder).

  • It is strictly forbidden to create multiple user logins.

  1. Filling out the NIMCET Application Form 2020

  • Here, candidates will be required to fill in their personal (name, DOB, parents’ name) and academic details (marks and grades).

  • Candidates must ensure that they do not miss out any blanks which are marked ‘*Mandatory’.

  • Candidates will also be asked to choose their top 3 most preferred NIMCET 2020 exam centres in order of preference.

  1. Uploading mandatory documents: Candidates will have to upload the documents mentioned below in the given file size and format:

  • Scanned copy of a recent, coloured, passport size photograph (size between 50 KB- 150 KB)

  • Scanned copy of the signature (in Royal Blue/ Black colour only) (size between 50 KB- 150 KB)

  • A valid identity proof (preferably Aadhaar Card)

  • All the mark-sheets and certificates (self-attested and scanned) (should not exceed 500 KB each)

  • Category/ caste/ PwD certificate (if applicable)

  1. Payment of Application Fee: Next, the candidates will be directed to the Payment Gateway to execute the fee payment process.

  1. Saving and Printing the NIMCET Application Form 2020

  • After successful payment of the NIMCET application fee, candidates can click on the ‘FINALLY SUBMIT’ button.

  • Next, the completed NIMCET 2020 application form of the candidate will be displayed on the screen in pdf format.

  • Candidates can download this pdf file, print it out and note down the application number for future reference.

NIMCET Exam Centres 2020

Candidates aspiring for NIMCET 2020 exam will be required to select most preferred exam centres while filing the NIMCET application form 2020. I would like to tell you that right now the dates of NIMCET 2020 has not been released.
I can share expected/ tentative dates with you.
So, NIMCET 2020 Application form will be released in the first week of March 2020.
While filling up the form there are various steps
Such as
  • Registration,
  • Filling the application form,
  • uploading the documents and
  • application fee payment.

Last date to fill the application form online is till the last week of March 2020.

And you can fill the application form by online mode.
Exam date of NIMCET 2020 might take place in 4th week of May 2020.

I belong to general category and i have 6.4 CGPA in BCA which is equal to 60.8% so as per percentage criteria can i apply for NIMCET 2020

Hey Anshul,
The eligibility criteria for NIMCET is that Candidate must have completed B.sc( Hons)/ BTech/B.sc/B.E/BCA/BIT from a recognised institute with 60% score or 6.5 CGPA for general category.
The candidate must have passed qualifying exam with Mathematics or statistics as subjects.
So you are not eligible for applying.
You CGPA is less then 6.5 which is the minimum eligibility criteria.

The application will begin in March 2020 and exam will be conducted in may 2020.

I have 6.41 CGPA in BCA can i apply for NIMCET 2020

Greetings!

Whether you are eligible for nimcet examination or not with 6.41 cgpa in your bca depends upon the category you belong to, but you haven't mentioned it . If you are from general category dear then I am extremely sorry to tell you but you are not eligible for NIMCET examination but in case if you belong to reserved categories like sc/st then you are eligible as the eligibility criteria for NIMCET 2020 is that a candidate must have passed B.sc/ B.Sc( Hons)/ BIT/BCA with mathematics/statistics as one of the subjects with atleast 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (general category) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST) from a recognised board or university. I would like to tell you that NIMCET 2020 application will be released by the conducting authority tentatively in the first week of March, 2020.

Utkarsh, to be eligible for NIMCET, you should have completed your Graduation in B.Sc, B.Sc(Hons), BCA, BIT, B.E, B.Tech to be eligible for NIMCET. You should have completed Mathematics or Statistics as one of your subjects in your Graduation. NIMCET is an entrance exam for Post Graduation programmes and not after 12th. So if you want to appear for NIMCET in the future, you should study your Graduation in one of these courses.
