NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2018- The exam conducting NIT will announce the NIMCET 2018 eligibility criteria in third week of February. NIMCET eligibility criteria 2018 mention academic qualification along with other requirements that are to be fulfilled by the candidates seeking MCA admissions across NITs and HBTU Kanpur. A total of 815 seats will be offered across the 11 participating NITs. NIMCET 2018 is expected to be held in last week of May in offline mode. NIMCET application form 2018 is likely to be available from third week of February to last week of March. Candidates should check the NIMCET 2018 eligibility criteria before submitting the form as if at any stage of admission he/she is found ineligible, then his/her admission will be cancelled right away.
NIMCET Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates must be Indian nationals.
They should be graduation degree holders (BCA/B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Sc/BIT) as per 10+2+3 pattern from a recognised university.
Candidates must have studied Mathematics or Statistics or equivalent subject during graduation.
Candidates belonging to General category are required to score a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA score in aggregate of all subjects. SC/ST category candidates need to obtain at least 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA score on a 10 point scale in aggregate.
Those, who hold Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/B.Tech. degree or equivalent degree, are also eligible for NIMCET 2018.
Candidates appearing for the qualifying degree exam are also eligible to apply for NIMCET 2018. However, they must provide the proof of qualifying examination at the time of admission.
Conversion of scores from CGPA to percentage or percentage to CGPA is not allowed.
CGPA scores other than 10 point scale will be converted to 10 point scale as per unitary method.
National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test or NIMCET 2018 is expected to be held in the fourth week of May. The 11 participating institutes of NIMCET 2018 are located in Allahabad, Calicut, Agartala, Bhopal, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, Kurukshetra, Surathkal and Warangal.
