CDAC C-CAT Counselling and Seat Allotment 2019- The admission process to postgraduate diploma courses of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) includes CDAC C-CAT Counselling and Allocation. Seats under third round allotted on August 9 and the last date to pay course fee was extended to August 18, 2019. As the CDAC C-CAT 2019 was conducted on June 23 and 30 and result for the same has been declared on July 10, the next process that followed is counselling and seat allotment. There are two sessions of CDAC C-CAT counselling 2019 scheduled between July 10 and August 8, which includes order of preference for courses and training centres to be filled by candidates online through login. CDAC C-CAT seat allotment 2019 has three rounds, two rounds after CDAC C-CAT counselling (first round) and third round of seat allotment after Counselling (second round). After completion of CDAC C-CAT 2019 counselling and seat allotment, candidates are required to pay the balance fee and then registration will be done at the concerned training centres. CDAC C-CAT Result 2019

CDAC declared the result of C-CAT on July 10 in online mode. Candidates are required to enter their form number and password to login and check result. The result page contains ranks obtained by candidates in C-CAT along with the option to select courses and training centres for CDAC C-CAT Counselling 2019. Candidates can fill their choices from July 10 to 16. It may be noted that admissions to August 2019 session of PG Diploma courses will totally be based upon the ranks obtained by candidates in C-CAT June 2019.

CDAC C-CAT Counselling 2019

CDAC C-CAT 2019 counselling is being done in two rounds in which, the candidates are required to login using their form number and password as shown in the image and then select courses (no max. number fixed) and training centres online in the order of their preference. The first round was held between July 10 to 16 which follows by two rounds of CDAC C-CAT seat allotment on July 18 and 29. The second round of CDAC C-CAT counselling will take place between August 5 to 8 followed by declaration of third round of seat allotment on August 9, 2019. It may be noted that preferences can be made only for the category of courses selected in CDAC C-CAT application form by the candidate and course eligibility has to be taken care of while selecting. cdac-ccat-counselling


CDAC C-CAT Seat Allotment 2019

Allocation of seats is in three rounds. First round of CDAC C-CAT seat allotment was declared on July 18 followed by second round on July 29 for the first CDAC C-CAT counselling. The third round of seat allotment announced on August 9 for second counselling. CDAC C-CAT 2019 seat allotment can be checked through login and will be communicated to the candidate through email as well. Candidates will be allotted courses and training centres based on their preference and those who didn’t get their top preference in the first round may be considered in second round. But it may be noted that once a training centre has been allotted to a candidate, such a candidate can not make manual requests for transfer to another training centre.

• PG Diploma in Artificial Intelligence (PG-DAI)

• PG Diploma in Mobile Computing (PG-DMC)

• PG Diploma in System Software Development (PG-DSSD)

• PG Diploma in Advanced Secure Software Development (PG-DASSD)

• PG Diploma in HPC System Administration (PG-DHPCSA)

• PG Diploma in Geoinformatics (PG-DGi)

• PG Diploma in Biomedical Instrumentation & Health Informatics (PG-DBIHI)

Training Centres for CDAC PG Diploma Courses

There are 21 training centres across India for postgraduate diploma courses under CDAC. Candidates are required to select out of these training centres during CDAC C-CAT Counselling in the order of preference. The image provided below reflects the courses and corresponding seats available in the CDAC C-CAT training centres.

PG Diploma Course Fee

After declaration of third round of seat allotment, payment of balance course fee is to be done before August 18, 2019 (earlier it was to be paid before August 14). The course fee for PGDC is provided below that has to be paid after completion of CDAC C-CAT counselling and seat allotment process. Course fee is to be paid online only before August 14, 2019.

  • Rs 90,000/- + Goods & Services Tax (GST) on it applicable at the time of payments (July/August 2019) for all courses except PG-DBDA and PG-DAI (Ist instalment of Rs 10,000 + G.S.T and IInd instalment of Rs 80,000)

  • Rs 1.15 lakh + GST for PG-DBDA (Ist instalment of Rs 10,000 and IInd instalment of Rs 1,05,000)

  • Rs 1.50 lakh + GST for PG-DAI (Ist instalment of Rs 10,000 and IInd instalment of Rs 1,40,000)

The course fee is to be paid in two instalments as provided and includes expenses like course materials, computer lab usage, examinations, final mark-list/certificate, and placement assistance (provided at the local training centre). It may be noted that no Demand Draft (DD), cheque or cash is acceptable at any of the C-DAC training centre towards payment of any installment of course fees.

Cancellation and Refund of course fee

As per the CDAC’s instructions, in case the minimum number of seats are not filled at a particular training centre, such a course may be cancelled. In such case,

  • Candidate might be granted admission in the same course at another training centre preferred by him/her where seats are available as per their ranks, OR

  • another course preferred by candidate at the same centre or another centre of choice, where seats are available as per his/ her ranks

In such cases, the candidates have the option to choose alternate centre or course before withdrawing the course fee so paid.

In case of default or inability on the part of candidate to produce required documents before the authorities may lead to cancellation of provisional admission. First instalment of course fee paid might also not be refunded. Candidates have the option to withdraw admission, provided that they will have to pay a penalty amount depending upon the date of admission and withdrawal.

Greetings!

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) conducts the computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT) twice a year, i.e. in June and December. The CDAC C-CAT application form 2019 is tentatively expected to be released on October 23 in online mode and will be available till December 3, 2019. Only those candidates who are either graduate in engineering or postgraduates in engineering sciences with the corresponding basic degree will be eligible to apply for CDAC C-CAT December 2019.

Hello student if you've done bsc engineering in computer science then you're eligible as eligibility criteria says that minimum eligibility  for admission into the PG Diploma Courses of C-DAC states that candidates need to possess a graduation degree in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. BE / BTech / 4-year BSc Engineering / AMIE / DoEACC B Level) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation.

There are many websites available where you can get the sample papers for C-CAT exam  for example freetests4u but previous year paper are not available online .so You can also practice C, C++ questions and  for the aptitude through Indiabix. So clear all the concepts of your domain subjects then it will become easy for you to crack the exam.

C-DAC entrance test question papers are not available online. But you can find many websites where you can get the sample papers for C-CAT for example freetests4u. You can practice C, C++ questions as well as for the aptitude through Indiabix. Just clear all the concepts of your domain subjects then it will become easy for you to crack the exam.
