Hope you are doing great. Coming to your question, the CDAC entrance exam, for the second batch students was not yet released by the authorities. However, it was expected to be on between 20 to 23 December,2022, these are tentative. The dates may change. However, for the January batch students the exam was conducted between 22 to 23 January, 2022.

Yes, Civil engineers can also do CDAC. As per your question, Yes engineers from any branch can appear in the CDAC exam (only for course DAC), CS, IT, EC and some other branches can appear for other courses too.

There is no age restriction for admission to C-DAC's PG Diploma courses. The candidates must have passed any one of the above degrees with a minimum of 50% marks. The candidates must have done any of the courses given above with a minimum of 50% marks.

do not worry if you could not clear CAT exam in your first attempt

There is no limit on the exam attempts for CAT.

You can write it as many times as you can.

No , you can not do PG Diploma from CDAC after B.Com, and you cant give C-CAT Only science graduates are eligible for the course like B.tech in any discipline or equivalent .

Otherwise M.Sc in computer science/IT/Electronics, MCA etc or Post graduate Degree in Mathematics, Physics , Statistics etc.

Students who have atleast two mathematics in their graduation degree are eligible for admission

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) will release the CDAC C-CAT application form 2022 for April session in March. CDAC C-CAT application form 2022 will be available online at cdac.in. CDAC C-CAT 2022 will be conducted in April and August. The authorities will release the application form of CDAC C-CAT 2022 for both the sessions in online mode. The dates for the release of the application form is not yet declared. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.

C-DAC's computerized Common Admission Test (C-CAT) is conducted  for admission to all Post Graduate Diploma courses of C-DAC

It is conducted twice in a year before pandemic

For session FEBRUARY/MARCH 2022 you need to appear and qualify in the month of january

For session AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2022 you need to appear and qualify in the month of june.

due to covid there is delay in batch

You can expect notification in the month of january as september 2021 batch starts.
