Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (Assam JMEE)

The Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) conducts the Joint MCA Entrance Exam (JMEE) for admission to Masters is Computer Applications. Assam JMEE 2020 will be conducted in offline mode on September 12.  The authorities have started the Assam JMEE 2020 application process from June 25 and last date of application is August 10. The admit cards for the exam will be released on September 4. The question paper of JMEE 2020 will be in English medium and candidates will be required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet. The multiple-choice questions are distributed into four sections, i.e. Mathematics, Reasoning, English and Fundamentals of Computing. Lastly, there is negative marking as well wherein, candidates are awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for incorrect response. Assam JMEE result 2020 will be released on or before September 28.

The JMEE application form has been released in online mode on June 25 and the last date of application is August 10. Candidates must note that they do not need to send a hard copy of the complete JMEE 2020 application form to the exam conducting office. 

Read the steps given below to know the application filling procedure of JMEE 2020:

• Visit the official website and click on the 'JMEE application form 2020' link.

• Register with your valid e-mail address and mobile number.

• Candidates will receive their unique application number via text message. 

• Type in your personal, contact, academic details and upload the documents as per the specifications mentioned above. Submit the application form.

• Print out the completed JMEE application form using your application ID and password. Preserve it for future reference.

• After submission, the conducting body cannot make any rectifications of the mistakes (if any). In case of incorrect information provided by the candidates, his/ her candidature will be cancelled. To prevent this, such candidates can submit a fresh JMEE application form 2020.

The JMEE admit card 2020 will be released in online on September 12.  It is compulsory for all candidates to carry their JMEE 2020 admit card to the exam centres for verification. Without the JMEE hall ticket 2020, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the offline entrance exam. Check the steps below to download the JMEE 2020 hall ticket:

• Visit the official website and click on the link of JMEE 2020 admit card.

• Type in your application number and password/ date of birth.

• Click on ‘Submit’. Your hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.

• Download and print out at least 2-3 copies of the same.

• The result of JMEE 2020 will be displayed in PDF format.

• Download and print out at least 2-3 copies of the result for the counselling procedure and for other future purposes.

Mode of Counselling: Offline

Shortlisted candidates need to report to the Assam Engineering Institute, Chandmari, Guwahati-03 for the JMEE counselling 2020.  Candidates will be invited on the basis of their ranks and reservation criteria. It is compulsory for candidates to report at the counselling venue in person, along with the mandatory documents for verification.
