Candidates can register for IGNOU MCA 2024 admissions from the official website. The IGNOU MCA registration 2024 has been open in online mode. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission. Note that registration for IGNOU 2024 MCA admission opens twice a year for January and July admissions respectively. Interested candidates have to complete the process of registration before last date.

Documents required while filling application form of IGNOU MCA 2024

Candidates must keep scanned copiesof the following documents while applying for IGNOU MCA 2024 admission

• Recent passport size photograph

• Signature

IGNOU MCA 2024 Registration

• Visit the admission portal of IGNOU at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.

• Click on the ‘New registration’ button to open the ‘Student Registration Form’.

• Type in your personal details like name, father’s name, gender, email, mobile number, etc. You will also be required to choose a username and password.

• Fill in the security code and click on ‘Submit’.

• The ‘Reset’ button can be used to make changes if required.

• The username and password will be intimated to the candidate via email and SMS.

IGNOU MCA 2024 Application Form

Candidates will have to login by entering their username, password that is available after the completion of initial registration. Here is the section wise steps to fill the application form.

• Programme Details- Fill in their choice of programme, study centre, medium of study, etc.

  • Click on ‘Save’ and check for any mistakes. Once satisfied, click on ‘Next’.

• Personal Details- Candidates need to enter their name, date of birth, nationality, gender, category, etc.

  • Click on ‘Save and Next’.

• Qualification Details- Provide the type of relevant qualification, main subjects, year of passing, division, etc. Click on 'Save and Next'.

• Course Details- Select the elective/ optional/ Foundation courses according to IGNOU MCA programme.

• Correspondence Details- Candidates are required to type in their correspondence address, phone number, fax number, email address, etc.

• Documents Upload- Candidates will have to select each document type and upload accordingly. It must be ensured that the file format of all scanned documents should be JPG/ JPEG and the file size must not exceed 100 KB.

  • Click on the declaration box and hit ‘Next’.

• The next window will show the details filled in by applicants in the previous steps. If satisfied, click ‘Next’. In case of any mistakes, candidates should click on ‘Edit’ and make suitable rectifications. Tick against the declaration and click on ‘Next’.

IGNOU MCA Admission 2024 Exam Form

As per the IGNOU 2024 exam criteria, students have to fill an exam form to be able to take the term end exam. Only those candidates are eligible for the exam who have submitted the assignments for the respective course successfully.

The authorities will announce the IGNOU MCA 2024 result on the official website. To check the result of IGNOU MCA 2024, candidates will need their 9 digit enrollment ID. The university usually announces IGNOU MCA results before the commencement of the next session. Candidates will also have the option to apply for early declaration of IGNOU MCA result. This can be done after payment of the requisite fee by the candidate along with proof of reason due to which early result is required.
