Hello Siva,  For BSC students , the basis eligibility criteria is to complete their three course form recognize university or board.  Students have to score more than 60% in aggregate.  Only those students who complete these 2 criterias can apply for entrance exam.

It's all depends on the how tough or easy paper is. But still I think 380+ marks will enough to get admission in UOH MCA programme. 

I think UOH has started taking admission on the basis of NIMCET from last year only. (Please correct me if i am wrong).

It is quite difficult for you to get admission in NIT Raipur as according to previous year rank trends closing rank for general category was around 640 and your rank is 1554 which is very far away. It is difficult to get chance even in last round of counseling. I will suggest you to look for another college as your rank is very good and you will get any other good college.

Well satish reddy as you say that you belong to oc category means general category, which is not so good news. And you want to join nit surathkal . For getting a seat in nit surathkal you need to get a rank under 200 in order to safely secure a seat in . for rank under 200 your score would be around 75 to 90 out of 100.

See saru being in final yesr makes you eligible for sitting in nimcet exam . Now you should know that nimcet exam is two hours long exam and consists of 120 questions of 480 marks total. Of them you have mathematics, computer awareness, general aptitude and english also.So you basically have 4 parts and you need to score well in each part to score good.

I see that you have got 533 rank in OBC category and you have got 1532 rank in AIR in NIT MCA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST(NIMCET). So you have scored a good marks , so first congratulations.

I see that you want to go for nit Calicut. What I see is you have a pretty fair rank and you are eligible for getting nit Calicut as previous year closing rank was around 500-600 .

I am sorry but you won't be able to get admission in NIT Calicut. It had a cut off of 641 rank last year. However you might want to try for  NIT Kurukshetra which had a cut off of 1596 rank. You might also want to try for NIT Raipur which had a cut off of 1709 rank. 

Well Akhila there is no such thing like qualifying criteria in nimcet , you can also qualify with non negative numbers in maths and aptitude , but that  won't do any good. as for getting admission in top nit's you need to get rank around 500 and for which you need to score very high. So rather than asking for qualifyibg criteria , you should think about how to get in good college by getting good rank.
