See vinay what you are saying is that you got rank 5034 in NIMCET and you want to study in IPU. Well let me remind you that IPU only accepted IPU-CET rank till last year , from this year they have started accepting NIMCET, so there is no such previous record which can be considered for predicting which college will you get or willyou get ipu or not. but if i make an approximate decision then with your rank it might be impossible to get a seat in IPU.

I see that you have got AIR 1769 and OBC category rank 606 in NIMCET . You want to join IPU . Listen IPU had been accepting only scores of IPU-CET till last year. And from this year they started accepting NIMCET scores . So basically their is no such previous record of cutoff ranks of NIMCET for IPU from which we could have predicted your chances. But considering your rank it might be possible for you to get a seat in IPU.

I see that you have got a decent rank in NIMCET 2019 i.e. 820in obc category and 2410 rank in general category. If i see previous year rank then i can say that it is possible for you to get a seat in NIT but not in nit trichy, nit surathkal, warangal, calicut. Except the top NIT you will get a seat in rest nit like nit agartala, durgapur,jamshedpur,raipur etc.

Hope you get a seat in 2nd roundif not then in 3rd round you should get.

See Priyabrat IPU had been accepting only scores of ipu-cet till previous year for all their courses , but they started accepting scores of NIMCET and JEE MAINS from this year only. SO there is no such previous record mentioned about NIMCET cutoff so that it could be predicted whether you will get ipu or not. But considering your rank in nimcet. It might be possible that you will get a seat in IPU or maybe not.

First of all congratulation to get NIT  Waranga for MCM this is one of the top NIT colleges for MCA.

Chances are there to get NIT Surathkal in 3rd counselling but it is not sure to get   as it depend upon  number of candidates apply there and seat availability.

    Generally, I would personally suggest you to never think about the marks and it completely depends on the question paper level too. Although, having a score of minimum 400 will help you to get admission in top notch colleges. It totally depends on the toughness and level of the question paper. Well you just have to continue with furthur rounds of counselling if you believe that your seat can get upgraded. Don't worry until and unless you get a seat which you have filled at a higher priority, your present seat will remain yours as long as you follow all the procedures.
