The list of NIMCET 2021 Participating Institutes will be declared by the exam conducting authority on its official website.

  • NIMCET is the entrance examination organized by National Institute of Technology (NIT) for the purpose of admission in Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses in the different NITs.
  • The NIMCET Examination is organized by the NIT in a rotational manner.
  • 2021 will be conducted  by the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal (Karnataka).

I am providing alink below from where you can download the previous years question papers of NIMCAT from 2008.

It is an offline (pen and paper ) exam with 120 MCQs including mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English.

I am studying Bsc in computer science . I dont have subject mathematics in Bsc. can I apply for NIMCET exam?

No, You can't apply since its mandatory to have Mathematics/ Statistics in your BSc course.

Can a class 12 PCB student graduated from Bsc Biotechnology not having maths in graduation do Bridge Course of Maths of Class 12 and add Maths Subject in class 12 then student is Eligible for NIMCET exam or Not

The eligibility criteria for NIMCET is :

Candidates must have secured least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time withMathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subject from a recognized University.

And the process you have mentioned will not help you to be eligible for NIMCET.

As per the information on the official website NIMCET 2020 (https://nimcet.in/) it is mentioned that the third round is the last/final round of counselling and seat allotment procedure for NIMCET 2020 admissions. And all the candidates who are participating in this round, need to lock the seats by 6.00 pm , 24th december 2020 (today). For more information, visit here:

Dear Aspirant

The eligibility criteria for appearing for NIMCET is :

Educational qualification: B.Sc /  B.Sc (hons) / BCA/ BIT of minimum 3 years full time from a recognized university with mathematics / statistics as one of the subjects.

OR

B.E / B.Tech from a recognized university

Nationality: Indian

Minimum marks: 60% or 6.5 CGPA for General and OBC candidates

55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC and ST candidates.

Hello Aspirant,

According to the category and rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs or government colleges as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can get some private colleges on such rank :-

Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini, Delhi

Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg

Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi

Management Education and Research Institute, Delhi

Seemanta Engineering College, Mayurbhanj

International School of Informatics and Management, Jaipur

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors above prediction is on the basis of previous year's cut-off data.

Dear,

Minimum educational qualification for sitting in NIMCET exam is-

B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects (candidates from open universities are also eligible)

OR

B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University.


So, until you have studied mathematics as one of the subject in your graduation you cannot appear in this exam.

The best colleges for MCA after cracking NIMCET are NIT's.

The best NIT's are- NIT Surathkal, NIT, Warangal,  MANIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut, MNNIT Allahabad, NIT trichy, NIt jamshedpur, NIT Durgapur, NIT raipur.
