No NIMCET is not at all tougher than JEE Mains Exam. Since JEE Mains Exam is the prestigious exam to take admission to many IITs and NIITs hence is tougher than NIMCET.

Hello pragya,

The eligibility criteria of NIMCET are-

  1. Candidates must have scored atleast 60% or 6.5 cgpa( or 55% and 6.0 cgpa if sc/st).
  2. Bsc/Bsc(hons)/BCA/BIT of minimum three years full time with mathematics/statistics/ equivalent subject as one of the subjects.

So you need mathematics or statistics or any equivalent subject

The syllabus, as well as concepts covered in both these courses, is quite the same but B. Tech CSE is a 4 year undergraduate course whereas MCA is a three-year post-graduate degree. That is the basic difference between them. MCA emphasizes on computer application development where as B.
