I hope you are doing well, As you said you secured 704 rank in NIMCET you will definitely get a seat in Hyderabad University. You might also get seat at NIT's (not in top 3). It's your choice whether you want to take admission in HCU or NIT's. I would suggest you to try for NIT's as you got a decent rank. Taking admission in colleges plays a vital role as it would affect your placement after MCA.

For the eligibility for appearing in NIMCET exam, you have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale from a recognized board. If you have been qualify for this marks category, then you are eligible for appearing in NIMCET exam. If you are in your last year of bachelors then you are also eligible, however you must have to provide your proof of passing before the specified last date. Hope this will help you.

The eligibility criteria for NIMCET is provided below:
B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects (candidates from open universities are also eligible)
B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University
As you are doing online courses then then also you are eligible because there are provisions for Open Universities which is essentially the same for distance education as well. So technically you can apply for it.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as per your rank that is 3339 general rank getting H.B.T.U is very hard as per last year cutoff of H.B.T.U for general category is around 2400 - 2500 but your rank is more than that. You should work hard and prepare again.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as per your that is 1624 A.I.R and 400 E.W.S rank getting any N.I.T or any central university is very hard as your have secured rank greater then 1000 in N.I.M.C.E.T but you have very good chances of getting colleges like G.G.S.I.P.U and H.B.T.U so you can certainly try for them.

NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) is an entrance exam conducted for giving admission into MCA program. There is no restriction in the number of attempts for NIMCET exam, therefore you can give it any number of times and to answer your question specifically, YES you're eligible to give NIMCET in 2022 although you are a 2020 passed out student.
