You can apply for polytechnic after completing 10th std . There are two types of polytechnic admission poly 40 & poly 60. In poly 40 students are admitted in colleges of there own district through % of 10th std.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

ELIGIBLITY:- 10th(High School)/12th Class.

Duration:- 3 years Full Time for 10th Pass students, and 2 years for 12th pass students.

Documents Required For the Admission in Polytechnic :-

10th Mark Sheet./12th Mark sheet.(Self Attested copy)

Transfer certificate/Leaving Certificate.(Original)

Original or Provisional 10th/12th Certificate.

• The first step to the preparation of NIMCET is to get familiar with the exam pattern.
• Next is to collect all the relevant study material for NIMCET. You can join a coaching center if you cannot start preparing by yourself.
• Start with learning the basic concepts of each subject asked in the exam. NIMCET syllabus includes up to Class XII level Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, Computer, and English.
• Practice while checking the time and this will help in managing the time while exam. Also, practice not to use a calculator while doing Mathematics and calculation-based questions.
• Read and revise each topic properly and this will help in assessing strong and weak areas. Once you know about your strong and weak areas, start strengthening your weak areas first.
• Start taking mocks tests as soon you complete your syllabus. Mock tests and previous years’ questions papers are very important to make you familiar with exam pattern.
• Practice more to gain more. Mock tests could be of great help. You should take minimum 1 to 3 mock tests in a week. Also, analyze each mock test you take.
• Just ahead if exam, do not prepare for any new topic. Only work on strengthening the ones you are weak at and revising the strong ones as well.

Candidate applying for NIMCET must have passed 3 year B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects or 4 year B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 if the candidate belongs to general or OBC category. If the candidate belongs to SC/ST then he/she must have scored minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA on a scale of 10.

You are not eligible to apply for NIMCET as you have passed BBA in Marketing Management. The eligible degrees are BCA/B.Sc/B.SC (Hons)/BIT/B. Tech.

It would be enough as Computer has very less Weightage.

For English-

As per your query  I would glad to tell you that for being eligible in nimcet you need to be passed out with atleast 60 percent in your graudation with maths as a compulory subject for alteast one year . At your profile if you have 60 percent in your graudation then you are surely eligible

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as you have secured air  1683 and obc 647 in N.I.M.C.E.T so getting any N.I.T in spot round is very difficult as you have secured very high rank as compared to seats as you need to achieve rank around A.I.R 800- 900. So you should try next year with hard work and should try to achieve high and high.

I hope you are doing well, As you said you secured 704 rank in NIMCET you will definitely get a seat in Hyderabad University. You might also get seat at NIT's (not in top 3). It's your choice whether you want to take admission in HCU or NIT's. I would suggest you to try for NIT's as you got a decent rank. Taking admission in colleges plays a vital role as it would affect your placement after MCA.

For the eligibility for appearing in NIMCET exam, you have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale from a recognized board. If you have been qualify for this marks category, then you are eligible for appearing in NIMCET exam. If you are in your last year of bachelors then you are also eligible, however you must have to provide your proof of passing before the specified last date. Hope this will help you.
