WB JECA Exam 2026: Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern

The authority will release the WB JECA 2026 counselling registration and choice filling dates. The WB JECA counselling process will include registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment and reporting to the allotted college. Only those candidates can participate in the counselling of WB JECA who cleared the exam. Aspirants will be able to check the WB JECA seat allotment at wbjeeb.nic.in. Eligible candidates must have their documents verified and appear on the designated date and time for the counselling process. No candidate may report on a date other than the one mentioned in the counselling programme. The counselling process will be based on rank order and cannot be altered based on individual candidate requests.

• Original and self-attested copy of a Class 10 certificate or admission card (or other proof of date of birth).

WB JECA 2026 eligibility criteria will consist of the academic qualifications, domicile, and age criterion that are mandatory for candidates to apply for admissions. Aspirants can check the detailed eligibility criteria of JECA 2026 below.

• Candidates must have passed 3-year Bachelor degree programs from UGC recognized University with at least 60% in Honours/Aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBCA/OBC-B/PwD candidates) along with 60% in Mathematics at the Bachelor’s level together with at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with at least 60% in Mathematics in both Secondary or equivalent and Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations from recognized Boards.
• Candidates, who are due to appear in the 3 year Bachelor's degree examination in current year will have to submit their mark sheet or grade card within 3 months from the commencement of the 1st semester classes.

                                                                        OR

• UGC and/or AICTE recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-years duration. Obtained 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at graduation level.

                                                                       OR

• Graduate or equivalent degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline of a UGC recognized University/Institute or AICTE recognized B.E./B.Tech/BCA of a University/Institute. Candidate must have Mathematics as one of the subjects at each level of education. Candidates have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBCA/OBC-B candidates) at each level education.

• Candidates must pass 3 year B. Sc. Hons. from UGC recognized university with at least 60% in Honours (55% for SC/ST candidates) in Bachelor level having Mathematics as one of the subject together with at least 60% marks in 10th level and (10+2) level with at least 60% in Mathematics in both 10th and (10+2) level from recognized Board. 

The authority will commence the WB JECA application form filling process on April 9. The authority will avtivate the WB JECA 2026 application link on the official website. Before completing the application form, candidates are required to review the WB JECA 2026 eligibility criteria. Only candidates who have submitted the application form will be eligible for the  WB JECA 2026 exam .

WB JECA 2026 Registration Steps

Step 1: Candidates must first complete the WB JECA 2026 registration process by following the instructions.

• Visit the WBJEE registration website.

• Click on 'JECA 2026 Online Application Form'.

• Choose 'New Candidate Registration.'

• Read the instructions and then click 'I agree and Proceed.'

• For registration, enter your name, parents' names, DOB, mobile number, and email address. All information must be correct and match the information on school admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category certificates, and so on.

• Select a password, as well as a security question and answer.

• Click the 'Submit' button.

Following successful registration, a WB JECA application number will be generated and communicated to candidates via SMS and email.

Step 2: Filling Out the WB JECA 2026 Application Form- After registering, candidates should login to the candidate portal to complete all of the WB JECA application form details such as personal, academic, and communication information such as domicile, category, PwD status, home district, nationality, religion, and so on. In this step, candidates must also select three preferred WB JECA exam centers.

Step 3: Uploading Documents- Once all of the application details have been entered, candidates must upload scanned images of their photograph and signature in accordance with the specifications provided by the authorities.

Step 4: Fee Payment- After uploading documents, candidates must pay the WB JECA 2026 application fee via net banking/debit/credit card. The WB JECA 2026 application fee is Rs 500 plus bank charges

Step 5: Printing Confirmation Page- After completing the steps, candidates will be directed to the "Downloading Confirmation Page" option. The WB JECA application process will not be completed unless a confirmation page is generated.

• During the WB JECA 2026 application process, the following documents will be required:

• A valid mobile phone number and email address are required.

• Photograph and signature scanned image

• Academic specifics.

• Internet Banking or a debit/credit card.

WBJEE Board will issue the WB JECA admit card 2026 on the official website. To download the WB JECA admit card 2026, candidates must enter their WB JECA application number and date of birth. Aspirants must take precautions to avoid even unintentional mutilation, distortion, or tampering with their admit card. Candidates who do not have such admission cards will be unable to enter the exam hall.

West Bengal JECA 2026 answer key will be published online. Candidates will also be able to raise objections to the answers in the tentative JECA answer key. After the board has had an opportunity to evaluate the challenge, the final WB JECA answer key will be made public. The authority will release the WB JECA 2026 OMR and recorded responses along with the answer key.
