well prafful you have scored average rank in NIMCET which is 1698 in general category. Now with this rank there are no Chances that you will get nit. But there is possibility that you will get IPU as they are also accepting NIMCET scores and also other colleges like HBTU Kanpur , vit , bit, Anna, Hyderabad University and other colleges.

Now considering previous year nit closing rank then I find that you are eligible to get nit but except the top ones like Trichy Warangal Surathkal Calicut etc. You will et a lower one .

And talking about IPU then there is no such record from which one can predict that whether you will get a college or not. But it might be possible to get a seat in IPU.

Hello there. Well you have got an average rank of 1832 in NIMCET 2019 in general category. So with this rank there is no chance of getting a nit. But their are chances that you will get a seat in IPU as they also started accepting NIMCET scores. Also consider hyderabad University and HBTU Kanpur. These are some colleges and there are many more which you can get .

As per the eligibility to apply for NIMCET, You should have B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects Or B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale as General OBC Category and 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale as SC, ST Category.
