National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test
Hi Aniket,
I am here to help you with your question. NITs you can get for your rank are provided below along with their 2018 cutoff
2018 Gen cutoff
NIT, Agartala - 662
NIT, Durgapur - 467
NIT, Jamshedpur - 511
NIT, Kurukshetra - 545
NIT, Raipur - 639
But remember cutoff changes every year but still, you have chances to get one among the above mentioned NITs.
I hope this will help you.
All the best.
Thank you.
Hi Khushi,
I am here to help you with your question. Based on my research, the EWS category is considered at the time of admission. In the counseling, they will give you a seat by considering your EWS reservation and rank. It doesn't play any role in the exam results. Like other reservation categories, EWS is also considered for seat reservation.
No, the category rank is just for name sake, the admission is on basis of AIR, the last year rank cutoff you will see is based only on AIR, even for reserved catehories.
well Anup considering that you are from ews category and you are saying that you are having 1720 rank in NIMCET in general category. So you will be having ews category rank less. But you should know that ews category has been introduced this year so there is no such record of ews category rank list. It I hard to predict. But it is possible that you will get nit . Bit the top ones but the average ones .
Well Kanika you did really great in NIMCET. You scored a good rank in NIMCET and in general category you have 377 rank which is great.
No If I consider previous year closing rank of different nit's then I find while comparing with your rank that you are eligible to get a seat in nit but not in the top ones like Trichy Warangal Surathkal Calicut Allahabad etc. But you will get a seat in the average ones like Jamshedpur Durgapur kurukshetra Raipur etc.
