    Hello,
    If I consider the previous year data.then your chances of getting admission in any of the nits  are negligible.
    Previous year the last cutoff admitted was in nit Agartala,that was 1711.with the rank which you have secured its nearly impossible to get into nits for mca course.
    You can look for some other colleges which accept the nimcet score.

    • Click on the link to NIMCET result 2019.and log in by entering hall ticket number and password.
    • Then you will know your qualifying status and rank,futhermore they will release a rank list,mentioning your rollnumbers and ranks.

    Their is some possibility for you to get admission in NIT.
    Cut off rank in around 700 so you might get also if some students opt out from it.
    Have some hope and you will get admission definetly.

    Yes, you can get NITs through catagory rank,

    the list below are the approx closing rank(SC catagory) range for all the 11 participating NITs:

    • NIT Calcutta (2000 to 2500)
    • NIT Durgapur (3500 to 4000)

    Unfortunately only ranks till 700 get a chance to do MCA at NITs.


    You can apply to HBTU Kanpur. It is also taking admissions through NIMCET.


    You can go for other colleges like DU, BHU, JNU, BIT, VIT, DAVV, ANNA, AMU, YMCA, UPTU, VJTI, NMIMS, KJ SOMAIYA, DY PATIL.


    These are some deemed Universities and colleges.

    Hello aspirant. As per your question i do understand your concern. On this note all i wanna ask you is even in all india rank do you qualify in your choice of stream?
    If yes then that is even amazing if not then you must do smething about it.
    You don't actually need to mention your OBC rank if you are deserving all india vise.
    I am not here to upset you but it is completely okay.

    Based on previous year's cut-off trends you have chances of getting admission in
    • NIT, Agartala
    • NIT, Kurukshetra
    • NIT, Raipur
    But cut off is subjected to change based on number of candidates appeared for the exam, difficulty of exam etc.
