nimcet is the entrance test of nits to get admission in 3 years/ 6 semester mca courses in nits.

its not a lateral entry admission test, after clearing nimcet you need to study from the first years of mca course. mca course through nimcet exam is offered by 11

filling wrong information on omr sheet and not following the rules thoroughly have the possibility to cancel of candidature.  The result may not be evaluated if the details are not entered  correctly.

I would like to tell you that right now the dates of NIMCET 2020 has not been released.
I can share expected/ tentative dates with you.
So, NIMCET 2020 Application form will be released in the first week of March 2020.

I belong to general category and i have 6.4 CGPA in BCA which is equal to 60.8% so as per percentage criteria can i apply for NIMCET 2020

Hey Anshul,
The eligibility criteria for NIMCET is that Candidate must have completed B.sc( Hons)/ BTech/B.sc/B.E/BCA/BIT from a recognised institute with 60% score or 6.5 CGPA for general category.
The candidate must have passed qualifying exam with Mathematics or statistics as subjects.
So you are not eligible for applying.

Sorry to say but I have not seen any Nimcet aspirant who practices for English section.

English section consist of 20 questions and 4 marks per question. So total weightage of english is 80 marks out of 1000 marks.

I personally suggest you don't for English. If you are good/avg.
