The eligibility criteria for NIMCET 2020 is that a candidate must have passed B.sc/ B.Sc( Hons)/ BIT/BCA with mathematics/statistics as one of the subjects with atleast 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (general category) and 55% or 6.0  CGPA (SC/ST) from a recognised board or university.

In case if you haven't studied Statistics or Mathematics in your bachelor's degree then you can appear in mathematics or statistics exam privately from open university. By the time one admission process if you pass the exam then you are eligible to get admission through NIMCET.

Sorry to say but I have not seen any Nimcet aspirant who practices for English section.

English section consist of 20 questions and 4 marks per question. So total weightage of english is 80 marks out of 1000 marks.

I personally suggest you don't for English. If you are good/avg. in English just practice it with some test series not book. and if you are weak just leave the english section.

You can do 10-12 maths questions in that time.

10 maths questions = 10*4*3= 120 marks

20 English questions = 20*4*1= 80 marks

now choice is yours. Just prepare for 100 questions(50 maths + 40 reasoning + 10 computers)in 120 minutes.

The eligibility criteria for NIMCET 2020 is that c candidate must have passed with atleast 60% or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 (candidates who belong to general category and OBC) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA out of 10 ( candidates who belong to SC/ST category) in Bachelor's degree.

You have to secure the minimum percentage altogether.As it is the aggregate score and not semester wise percentage.

Remember one thing content is important and not the book. So you either go with RD Sharma maths bolke or RS AGGARWAL for reasoning book or watch as many as videos you can of subtopics of mathematics but just keep one aim that you clear you concepts and become confident for exam. To improve your English and grammar, watch some English videos and movies and try to learn new vocabulary and use it in your daily language. For computer awareness and quantitative ability, watch and read as many as videos and lectures available, clear your concepts and then solve as much as you can.

the nimcet cut off rank will be published by the exam conducting authorities soon.as per the previous years cutoff rank that is the 2019 released cutoff rank for various nits its ranging from 632 to 4263 . among them the first is the nit trichy with the last rank cut off of 632 and the last nit which intakes the sc colleques are the nit agartala..

since the last rank and cutoff ranks vary with years we cannot actually predict the rank of this year unless and untill we wait for the result to be announced..

The admission to MCA program of IGDTUW is on the basis of rank secured in the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted by IGDTUW. If the seats remain vacant, Applicants having valid NIMCET score are considered in the Spot Round if they meet the eligibility criteria.

85% of the total seats are reserved for applicants belonging to Delhi Region (Students passing the qualifying examination from recognized University/ College / Institution located within the NCT of Delhi) and 15% of the total seats for applicants belonging to outside Delhi Region.
