Here, Exam date of NIMCET 2020 is not extended but now the college exam date is extended. And that will crash the date of NIMCET exam - 31st May... How do we even suppose to take the exam?

Chandani, at this point in time all these schedules are possible dates given the fact that lockdown has been extended until May 3rd. Now based on the Country's control of the pandemic the exams will be most probably rescheduled. NIMCET was scheduled for May 31st but again all dates are subjective to change based on the prognosis and control of the current situation. So do not worry about that.

I am a bipc student with bca degree can i join MCA in NIT THIRCHY by nimcet exam? Is there any allowance?

hi,

see final year  bca candidates or who have passed bca course are eligible to apply, however passing year should not be later than september 2020.  candidates must have  mathematics and statistics as a subject in graduation level are eligible to apply. the marks criteria of graduation course is as follows according to category wise

general  and obc- 60% marks in aggregate  or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale

sc/st- 55% marks  in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale

Hi,

The eligibility to apply for nimcet 2020 exam is -

Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in

(i) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time programme from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects

OR

(ii) B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University

If you fit the above eligibility criteria you can apply to nimcet 2020 exam.

see if you want to pursue mca from nits and want to apply for nimcet, you need to qualify the eligibility criteria, which is candidates need to pass B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT  of minimum three years full-time course  from a recognized University with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.  or B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University may also apply.

I had got 51% in 12 th and Im completely BCA degree in 2019 i had got 72% . can I eligible for NIMCET EXAM

see for nimcet exam which is the entrance test for admission in nit for mca course, 12th percentage does not matter. the basic eligibility criteria is  Candidate must possess B.Sc. (Hons)/ B.Sc./BIT/BCA/B.Tech/B.E of minimum of three years duration  from a recognized board or university with mathematics or statistics as a subject. marks criteria for general category is 60% or 6.5 cgpa out of 10. for sc/st it is 55% or 6.0 cgpa out of 10.

Hello Aspirant,

There will be the registration available as your puc percentage is 50% percentage so register and fill the application form as if you have any category it would be beneficial to you and you can apply for the nimmcet  but you may or may not get into it as the chances are very less  but let us hope for the best to get into that and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.
