Dear Manisha, if you are talking aboit DU MCA, the official bulletin doesnt mention anything about a gap between accademics. As long as you have completed your graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% and have syudied a minimum of 2 papers in Mathematical Sciences namely Computer Science, Statistics, Operational Research and Mathematics, you are good to go. In Delhi University there are several number of colleges for MCA. So there are very much seats in various colleges in which you can take admission.
For MCA you have to clear Entrance Exam and your graduation course will matter.

Can you please tell me DU provide MCA in correspondence?
The School of Open Learning is a constituent College of Delhi University. And it is the good correspondence University.
It doesn't offer MCA as a course.
It offers admission to only specific Undergraduate and Post graduate courses.
It offers only 5 UG and 5 PG courses only
5 UG Courses:- BCom (H), bcom, BA(H)-English and political science and BA programme.
5 PG Courses:- MA- Hindi, History, Political Science, sanskrit and Mcom.
Every subject has its own criteria for Admission.
For correspondence of MCA there are number of colleges in Delhi you can apply for. One of the best is IGNOU University.

To be precise, No , you can't get a direct admission.
DU MCA entrance Exam consists of 50 objective type questions which is to be completed in 2 hours.
DU MCA exam is divided into four categories- English, Mathematics, Computer Science and Logical Ability.
The final admission to the DU MCA course is done on the basis of entrance exam and interview.
85% weightage is given to entrance exam while 15% weightage is given to interview.

yes there is negative marketing in the du mca entrance exam . i cant tell yo uthe rank you need to get your admission done because every college has their own cut off criteria . so you need to wait fo rteh cut off.

what is the fee structure of MCA from DU and the syllabus. Is MCA in DU divide in Semesters or in Yearly.
The Master of Computer Applications(MCA) was introduced in the University of Delhi in 1982 and it is one of the best places to pursue this course.
The yearly fee is around 7000-8000 which is quite affordable as compared to other places.
This course is 3 year full time and divided into six semesters.

Hello. Yes a final year student is eligible for DU MCA Entrance exam 2019 provided that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria.
The eligibility criteria are as follows:
- You should pass with a bachelors degree from a recognized university equivalent to DU with atleast two subjects of Mathematical Sciences (mathematics, computer science, statistics, operational research).
- You should have a total aggregate of 60% (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

The basic eligibility criteria of pursuing MCA from Delhi University is any Bachelor's degree from any recognised college or university with atleast one paper in Mathematical Sciences under annual mode/atleast two papers in Mathematical Sciences in semester mode of examination.Minimum marks is 60% in aggregrates.Admission is through Entrance Exam and Interview.
