NIT Agartala issues guidelines for cancellation of allotted seats for NIMCET 2014
National Institute of Technology, Agartala has issued guideline for cancellation of allotted seats for NIMCET 2014. The candidates who had not reported personally on July 17 and July 18 at the final allotted institute may surrender their seats on June 21 and July 22, 2014.
The NIMCET 2014 guideline reads, “Candidates of NIMCET 2014 Counselling round 1, 2 and 3 who are not satisfied who are not satisfied with their allotment of seat including upgraded seat and do not wish to get admitted to the allotted institute but still wish to remain considered for final round of allotment.” The fresh choice filling for final round of seat allotment as per NIMCET 2014 merit list is scheduled for July 26, 2014.
The NIMCET 2014 notification further stated that fresh candidates in third round must report in person at any of the reporting centers and proceed for verification of documents, surrender their allotted seats and receive letter of reporting from the reporting center. “Candidates must bring a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.1000 favouring NIMCET 2014,” the notification added.
However, the candidates who got their seat allotted in earlier rounds and had been upgraded in this round of allotment, but do not wish to join the institute must approach the same reporting center, surrender the seat by filling a prescribed application and get the letter of reporting. These candidates need to collect Rs. 10000 Demand Draft submitted earlier from the reporting center and must bring a new crossed Demand Draft of Rs.1000 favouring NIMCET 2014.
NIMCET is NIT MCA Common Entrance Test conducted by NITs for admissions to their MCA programmes. As many as 11 NITs are participating in NIMCET 2014 which include, NIT Agartala, NIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Raipur, NIT Surathkal, NIT Tiruchirappalli and NIT Warangal. The admissions in 867 seats of these participating 11 NITs are based on ranks of NIMSET 2014 only.

HOW TO PREPARE ONLINE FOR NIMCET EXAM?
Firstly, preparation of NIMCET is to get familiar with the exam pattern. Then get the required books. Start with learning the basic concepts of each subject asked in the exam. see not all colleges have aicte approval , so it depends on the organization and their required qualifications for any particular post. for nimcet exam eligibility criteria is Students must have completed/ are completing B.Sc./ B.Sc. (Hons)/BCA/ BIT of 3 years from Open Universities are also eligible to apply , the qualification course program must approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India. so if the college is approved by ugc then you are also eligible to apply for nimcet.
Here, Exam date of NIMCET 2020 is not extended but now the college exam date is extended. And that will crash the date of NIMCET exam - 31st May... How do we even suppose to take the exam?
Chandani, at this point in time all these schedules are possible dates given the fact that lockdown has been extended until May 3rd. Now based on the Country's control of the pandemic the exams will be most probably rescheduled. NIMCET was scheduled for May 31st but again all dates are subjective to change based on the prognosis and control of the current situation. So do not worry about that.
