National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur has made available Admit Card of NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2017 on May 16 after scrutiny of applications. Eligible candidates can download their NIMCET 2017 Admit Card in online mode only after logging in, as it will not be sent to them individually by post. They can download their admit card till May 28 at any time.

NIMCET 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on May 28 (Sunday) between 10 AM and 12 noon at various test centers. Candidates should be present in the examination hall of the test center before 9:30 AM. They will have to produce the NIMCET Admit Card 2017 at the test centre, counseling centre and participating institute (PI) at the time of admission. Admissions will be given to as many as 815 seats of MCA programme.

 

Candidates must preserve the NIMCET 2017 Admit Card till the entire process of admission is complete. Request for issue of duplicate admit card will not be entertained after the examination in any case. Application number should be quoted in all subsequent correspondences.

 

In case the admit card is not available for downloading, the candidate should send an e-mail to [email protected] between May 16 to 27 giving details of application number and proof for remittance of fee. Telephone enquiries will not be entertained.

To be eligible for NIMCET-


  • Candidate needs to have passed B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects (candidates from open universities are also eligible)
  • Candidates with B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University are also eligible.
  • Final year candidates of aforementioned qualifications too can apply provided they are able to show proof of their qualifying examination by September of that year.


Minimum Marks:


  • General and OBC needs to attain 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
  • SC and ST needs to attain 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale

can we clear the NIMCET exam without coaching ?

Haii jayshree!!!To clear NIMCET isn't that difficult. FIrstly, one needs to know the exam pattern very clearly so that you get an idea about questions and..you can definitely prepare yourself at home. You just need the good catch up on maths so that you can easily crack the exam.Start with the basics and also  Start taking mock tests  provided online as soon as you finished  concept . Just maintain flow and concentration on your preparation then no need of any coaching centre. practice more to gain more.Make a note of important points nad formulas it will helps you .All the best!!

Actually i am from ahmedabad i am studying in bca and want to appear for nimcet but there are no coaching institutes for nimcet in ahmedabad so how can i appear for nimcet????????????

hello aspirant,

you can prepare the nimcet examination by self study . its not necessary to have coaching classes to get better result in entrance exam. you can check tcyonline website as there is many lectures available for nimcet exam.

also you can follow aspire study channels.

SORRY to say you are not eligible to apply in nimcet 2020. the basic eligibility criteria is   Candidates must have studied B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT/ B.E/ B.Tech of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.

They must have minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST).
