MAH MCA CET Result Postponed; Notification for New Date still Awaited

MAH MCA CET result date has been revised. Result of the state level entrance examination was scheduled to be declared online on Monday, April 7, 2014. Official announcement of the new schedule on result is still awaited from the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

 According to the notification available on the official website of DTE, the result date has been rescheduled without citing any reasons for the same. It also mentions that the revised result declaration date will be notified soon on its website.

Score Card will be dispatched to the permanent address of candidates through speed post within 15 days of the result declaration.

MAH MCA CET 2014 was conducted by DTE on March 30 across all designated examination centers located in several cities. The entrance exam was held in computer based test format. Based on performance of the candidates in MAH MCA CET 2014, merit lists will be prepared and seat allotment process will be carried by the DTE.

I have pursued commerce in my 12th standard (No Maths) and done BCA(where there was one subject as "Business Mathematics" and one subjects as "Statistics") . Am I eligible to apply for this MAH- MCA CET Exam?

Hello Shruti,

The MAH-MCA CET for the year 2020 is to be conducted on 28th March 2020. The eligibility criteria for answering the CET says that:

  • The candidate must have graduated from a recognized University.
  • Also, mathematics is a mandatory subject at graduate level or BCA.
  • The candidates belonging to general category must have scored atleast 50% aggregate marks and should belong to state of Maharashtra only.

Therefore, if you have had Mathematics while pursuing BCA, you can definitely apply for MAH-MCA CET.
