MAH MCA CET 2021 Exam - Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, and Cut off

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) conducts MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET). It is the entrance examination for admission into MCA course in Maharashtra state. MAH MCA CET 2021 will be conducted in online mode for a duration of 90 minutes in multiple sessions. According to the marking scheme for Maharashtra MCA CET 2021, a correct response shall be rewarded with +4 marks and an incorrect response shall result in deduction of 1 mark. The MAH MCA CET question paper shall be divided into four sections consisting of Mathematics and Statistics, Logical/ Abstract reasoning, English comprehension and verbal ability and Computer Concepts. MAH MCA CET application form 2021 will be released online on the official website mahacet.org. Interested candidates have to fill the form within specified last date and qualify the exam. The allotment of seats will be based on marks in MAH MCA CET through a centralised online counselling.   

The authorities of Maharashtra State CET Cell released the eligibility criteria for MAH MCA CET 2021. Candidates aspiting for the entrance exam have to comply with the following conditions:

• His/ Her Nationality should be Indian.
• Should have passed bachelor's degree from a University recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities with minimum aggregate marks of 50% for other categories (or 45% for categories of backward classes or persons with disabilities).
• Should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level.
• Students appearing in the final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for MAH MCA CET.

The authorities will release the MAH MCE CET application form 2021 online in February. Candidates applying for MAH MCA CET need to go through various steps as mentioned below:

1. Visit the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

2. Select 'MAH MCA CET' and click on 'New Registration' 

3. Enter the basic details like name, contact details and candidate email ID.

4. Fill the application form by carefully adding the requisite details.

5. Now upload the photograph and signature as per specifications.

6. Submit and proceed with payment of application fee in online mode.

Candidates may note that the application fee could be paid in online mode only through Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

 Exam Pattern of MAH MCA CET

The Maharashtra State CET Cell will release the MAH MCA CET admit card 2021 in online mode. Candidates are also be informed of the release of MAH MCA CET 2021 hall tickets via SMS or email. They are required to login using registration number or roll number along with the password or candidate's date of birth, whatever is easily available.

Candidates will be required to paste their recent photograph on the MAH MCA CET admit card, preferably one that was uploaded at the time of online registration for the entrance exam. The following details will be mentioned on the admit card:

• Candidate's name 
• Roll number
• Name and address of the examination centre
• Time of entrance exam

The authorities will release MAH MCA CET answer key 2021 online on the official website. It will contain the correct options against question code and candidates will get a chance to challenge the same within a certain period. 

This will be followed by the release of final answer key for MAH MCA CET 2021 along with declaration of result. It may be noted that the final answer key will not be subject to challenge.

The authorities will declare MAH MCA CET result 2021 in online mode. The MAH MCA CET result pdf is provided on the official website and candidates can find their equated scores along with the percentile obtained. Candidates may also to follow a series of steps as provided below for accessing the result for Maharashtra MCA entrance:

• Visit the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
• Here, click on the MAH MCA CET 2021 portal.
• Now login using your registration number or roll number, and date of birth or password.
• The MAH MCA CET result 2021 will show on screen.
• Download the same for future reference.

The result page contains the total marks obtained in the online entrance test. 

The authorities will release separate cutoff marks for candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra and outside, i.e. All India level. Admissions through MAH MCA CET 2021 will be based on these cutoffs only. Those candidates who have a score above that in the MAH MCA CET cutoff will have to report at the stipulated centres for admission process.

The authorities will conduct MAH MCA CET 2021 counselling in online mode. The process of MAH MCA CET counselling includes online registration of application along with documents uploading and verification of documents. MAH MCA CET final merit list has been released which is to be followed by candidate reporting on the stipulated date and venue.

The following documents will be required 

• MAH MCA CET Rank card 2021

• Two copies of recent passport size photograph

• Class 10th Admit card/ certificate or birth certificate (for verification of age)

• Madhyamik or equivalent examination certificate

• SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable)

• Domicile certificate

• Higher secondary (10+2) level or equivalent certificate

• Degree mark sheets (10+2+3) as applicable

• Any other documents as are required for eligibility as per the criteria set by different Universities/ Institutes
