NIMCET Syllabus 2020 - The conducting National Institute of Technology (NIT) releases the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2020 syllabus. The subjects and topics to be assessed in the exam are contained in the NIMCET syllabus 2020. NIMCET 2020 is expected to be conducted in the last week of May in the coming year, whose result will tentatively be declared in the first week of June 2020. How can i apply for nimcet exam in 2020.

Dear Kashish,
I would like to tell you that right now the dates of NIMCET 2020 has not been released.
I can share expected/ tentative dates with you.
So, NIMCET 2020 Application form will be released in the first week of March 2020.
While filling up the form there are various steps
Such as
  • Registration,
  • Filling the application form,
  • uploading the documents and
  • application fee payment.

Last date to fill the application form online is till the last week of March 2020.

And you can fill the application form by online mode.
Exam date of NIMCET 2020 might take place in 4th week of May 2020.

I belong to general category and i have 6.4 CGPA in BCA which is equal to 60.8% so as per percentage criteria can i apply for NIMCET 2020

Hey Anshul,
The eligibility criteria for NIMCET is that Candidate must have completed B.sc( Hons)/ BTech/B.sc/B.E/BCA/BIT from a recognised institute with 60% score or 6.5 CGPA for general category.
The candidate must have passed qualifying exam with Mathematics or statistics as subjects.
So you are not eligible for applying.
You CGPA is less then 6.5 which is the minimum eligibility criteria.

The application will begin in March 2020 and exam will be conducted in may 2020.

I have 6.41 CGPA in BCA can i apply for NIMCET 2020

Greetings!

Whether you are eligible for nimcet examination or not with 6.41 cgpa in your bca depends upon the category you belong to, but you haven't mentioned it . If you are from general category dear then I am extremely sorry to tell you but you are not eligible for NIMCET examination but in case if you belong to reserved categories like sc/st then you are eligible as the eligibility criteria for NIMCET 2020 is that a candidate must have passed B.sc/ B.Sc( Hons)/ BIT/BCA with mathematics/statistics as one of the subjects with atleast 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (general category) and 55% or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST) from a recognised board or university. I would like to tell you that NIMCET 2020 application will be released by the conducting authority tentatively in the first week of March, 2020.

Utkarsh, to be eligible for NIMCET, you should have completed your Graduation in B.Sc, B.Sc(Hons), BCA, BIT, B.E, B.Tech to be eligible for NIMCET. You should have completed Mathematics or Statistics as one of your subjects in your Graduation. NIMCET is an entrance exam for Post Graduation programmes and not after 12th. So if you want to appear for NIMCET in the future, you should study your Graduation in one of these courses.
