MAH MCA CET 2014 Centralized Admission Process (CAP) is a part of seat allotment process, which will be exercised by the DTE after MAH MCA CET 2014 result declaration. The CAP will include three rounds of centralized allotment and one last CAP round to be held in the form of Counselling.   

Three rounds of centralized allotment will be open for both qualifying Maharashtrian and Non-Maharashtrian candidates and they need to fill separate Online Option forms for the desired round in which they want to participate. In Last CAP round only qualifying Maharashtrian candidates are allowed to participate.

Important features of First three CAP Rounds for Maharashtra State Candidates

  • Allotment for Home University (HU) seats will be done on basis of inter se merit of University area/ Maharashtra State merit list. Seat will be allotted to candidates considering the two following conditions- firstly the institutes preferred by candidates and secondly availability of seat at that point of time.
  • Candidates who secure seat allotment are required to confirm the admission by reporting at the concerned institute along with all needed on or before specified date for the same.

Note: Candidates will not be informed via allotment letters in this regards.

Important features of First three CAP Rounds for Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidates

  • Two rounds of direct allotment of seats will be conducted via online mode as per inter se merit of candidates.
  • Final seat allotment list will be displayed on the official website of DTE after MAH MCA CET result declaration.
  • Candidates who secure seat allotment are required to confirm the admission by reporting at the concerned institute along with all needed on or before specified date for the same.

 

Note: Candidates will not be informed via allotment letters in this regards.

Important features of Admission Round by Counsellling for J&K Migrant Candidates

  • For this round,Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Munshi Nagar, Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400058 will be act as Admission Authority. Admissions shall be granted by offline Counselling mode. Candidates willing to seek admission have to report in-person at SPIT Mumbai campus premises. 
  • Candidates have to confirm admission by paying the required amount of course fee at respective institute.

 

IV CAP Round- Counselling round for Maharashtrian Candidates Only

  • In this round, all vacant OMS seat will be merged to Maharashtra State seats.
  • Candidates, whose names have appeared in eligible candidates for CAP IV round list, are allowed to participate in the Counselling process. Eligible candidates have toreport in-person at concerned venue.
  • Candidates have to confirm admission by paying non refundable fee of Rs 10000/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, Technical Education”  payable at Mumbai. Remaining fee will be deposited at respective institute.

Candidates are required to carry all the below listed documents (original certificates and attested copies)

  1. Mark list

  2. MAH MCA CET 2014/AIMCET 2104 score card

  3. Certificate of indian nationality

  4. Caste certificate

  5. Caste/tribe validity

  6. Non creamy layer certificate

  7. Domicile certificate proforma

  8. MAH MCA CET hall ticket
