JMEE 2019: The Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU) will conduct the Joint MCA Entrance Exam (JMEE) 2019 in the second week of July tentatively. JMEE 2019 will be held in offline mode in three exam centres located in Guwahati, Jorhat and Kokrajhar. The online application form of JMEE 2019 is expected to release in the last week of May till the third week of June. The JMEE eligibility criteria 2019 requires the candidates to be between 20 to 26 years and must possess a Bachelor’s degree. Only eligible candidates must apply for JMEE 2019. Scanned copies of a passport size photograph and signature will also be required for uploading on the JMEE application form 2019. The application fee of JMEE 2019 amounts to Rs. 1000 which is to be paid via debit card/ credit card/ net banking. The JMEE 2019 admit card is expected to release in the third week of June which will be available for download in online mode only. JMEE Application Form 2019

Candidates can fill the JMEE 2019 application form in online mode which is expected to open in the last week of May. Candidates must go through all the instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before filling the JMEE application form 2019. To register, candidates must own a valid e-mail ID and mobile number. All the details must be entered carefully since any mistakes noticed after submission will not be modified by the exam conducting body. After submitting the JMEE 2019 application form, candidates need not send a hard copy to the conducting body. However, candidates are advised to keep a print out for future reference. The university does not hold any responsibility of the cancellation of any student’s candidature at the time of JMEE counselling due to non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria or wrong information in the JMEE application form 2019. However, in this case, a new JMEE 2019 application form can be submitted. Only applications of those candidates who have submitted the requisite application fee on or before the last day of payment will be accepted. The application process of JMEE 2019 will come to a close in the third week of June tentatively.

Application Fee: To apply for JMEE 2019, candidates will have to pay Rs. 1000 using
‘State Bank Collect’. The payment can be made via debit card/ credit card/ net banking. It is to be noted that the application fee is a non-refundable amount. Candidates opting for offline payment can do so at any Branch of State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit Form from ‘State Bank Collect’.

JMEE Admit Card 2019

The admit card of JMEE 2019 will be available for download in the third week of June tentatively. Candidates will have to type in their application number/ username and password to obtain their JMEE admit card 2019. The JMEE hall ticket 2019 will contain all the vital details pertaining to the exam such as date and time, name and address of the exam centre, etc. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their JMEE 2019 hall ticket to the exam centres for verification. Without the hall ticket of JMEE 2019, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the offline entrance exam. 

JMEE Exam Centres 2019

Candidates can choose from three exam conducting cities in Assam. It is essential to reach the JMEE 2019 exam centre on time i.e., latest by 1:30 PM, in order to complete the verification process. The name and address of the JMEE exam centre 2019 allotted to each candidate can be viewed on the admit card. Candidates are advised to visit the exam centre of JMEE 2019 at least a day prior to the exam to get familiar with the directions and avoid any last minute rush.

JMEE Result 2019

ASTU will declare the result of JMEE 2019 in the third week of July tentatively. The JMEE result will be published on the official website in the form of a PDF file. No offline declaration of the result will be made by the exam conducting body. The names of the qualified candidates will be in order of merit. From the JMEE 2019 result, candidates will find out their marks and position. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process on the basis of their ranks.

JMEE Counselling 2019

Selected candidates need to report to the Assam Engineering Institute, Chandmari, Guwahati-03 for the JMEE 2019 counselling procedure. The counselling of JMEE 2019 is expected to be held in the last week of July 2019. Candidates will be called according to their ranks and reservation criteria. It is compulsory for candidates to report at the counselling venue in person, along with the required documents for verification. No family member will be allowed as a representative of the candidate.

JMEE 2019: Frequently Asked Questions

Question- I made a mistake in my JMEE 2019 application form. Can I edit it?

Answer- No. There is no provision made for editing the application form. However, candidates can fill a fresh JMEE application form 2019.


Question- What is the reporting time for JMEE 2019 exam?

Answer- Candidates are advised to enter the examination centre 30 minutes before
the test begins.


Question- What all items will be allowed in the exam hall of JMEE 2019?

Answer- Candidates must carry their admit card of JMEE 2019 for verification and a black ball pen for marking their responses on the OMR sheet. Candidates should not bring log books, tables, calculators, pagers, cell phones, electronic gadgets etc., into the JMEE exam hall.


Question- Can I leave the exam centre before the time duration gets over?

Answer- Noi. Candidates will have to stay in the exam hall till the exam gets over. The time schedule has to be followed strictly.


Question- Is there any late entry allowed in the JMEE exam centres?

Answer- No. Once the exam commences, no candidate will be allowed to enter the hall.
